"The property is not located in a central area and to get there envolves different transportation and walking. The walking part can be a bit scary when it’s very late at night or when you have a big luggage. The basic room with the bunk bed is very small and can be inconvenient if you are not alone or with luggage."

"The building itself is beautiful with a lot of attention to detail. The atmosphere and staff were incredible. The rooms were compact but user friendly. The wifi was speedy."

"Tiny problems: the mattress was a little thin, the bar was quite expensive, the TV was unable to connect to phone or chromecast so was unusable as we aren't Swedish speakers. These are all petty in comparison to an overall incredible stay!"

"The bunk beds are tough to navigate. Found it particularly difficult to climb up. Only for very fit guests. Sheets and towels have to be paid separately at the location. Nowadays I do not see the point of that since the price is very similar to a hotel. It should be included in the price."

"Such a special enviroment (the building and the island both) and very nice cell (room) with super comfortable bed. Also the breakfast was amazing! In the hotel area there are many cosy places to chill and you can check out the museum about prison's history for free. The hotel is easy to find and it's about 10 minutes walk from the metro station and many restaurants."

"There was a party group talking loud in the corridor at 2.30 am, waking up all the customers. Super annoying behaviour. No reception open that time, but they went to their rooms when I told them to do so. If you book a hostel room, please notice that check-out time is already at 10.00, that was a bad thing especially when your sleep was disturbed."
