"We had a very happy stay at the Bastide Derroc . Patrice made us very welcome with good recommendations of places to visit and the house felt very much like home by the time we left. Cotignac is a charming village and is only a 10 minute walk along country paths so we were able to walk into the village for dinner or to collect bread and croissants in the morning. As we were there in the middle of February we were not able to take full advantage of the outside seating areas and pool area which were all very pretty and comfortable but the open fire in the sitting room made the evenings very cosy. Lots of pretty villages to visit within a half hour radius - we recommend the Abbaye de Thoronet, Moustiers Sainte Marie, the Lac de St Croix, Entrecasteaux and St Martin de Pallieres - both the latter have a chateau to visit although they were closed for the winter when we were there so could only admire from the outside."

"The location in Cotignac was amazing, beautiful views, exceptional attention to detail in the house, everything being authentic with its own history. Beds very comfortable and host response was great."

"The lower cave room was a bit damp our first night but turning on radiator and dehumidifier in bathroom , and airing it out helped a lot. It us a very steep walk back up to the house from the village and parking is tricky"

"Had a lovely stay at le cabanon at Maison d’artiste African queen. Sophia and Antoine were very welcoming and hospitable throughout our stay and were happy to answer any questions we had. They made us food which was much appreciated and an additional bonus.The villa had everything we needed for our stay. Has good links to cotignac and Carces. Property was clean and had most amenities."

"Pool was closed but this was explained ahead of stay. Property could have done with a hairdryer."
