"I stayed at Le Bellerive in Payret le Chateau on a recent motorcycle trip.Greeted by Alfred, I got a fabulous room overlooking the lake. I dined in the restaurant and had the recommended Coq au Vin with a soap starter and desert which were all absolutely delicious with lovely ambiance both inside and out. Easy parking for my bike too just under my bedroom window. I would recommend this hotel to all travelling in this location Peter Ireland"

"After a busy day of driving from Hokitika, we decided to split our drive to Kaikoura by staying at this hotel for one evening. Upon check-in the young woman clearly explained the restaurant hours, breakfast plan and how to use the outdoor jacuzzi which we definitely utilized for star-gazing later that evening. Since the hotel is literally in the middle of mountains and valleys and rivers, the views from the hotel/restaurant/villa were fantastic. We spent a few hours star-gazing the Milky Way which is our passion and one of the objectives for staying here for the evening. Given the hotel's location, the restaurant menu was quite limited which is a shame but understood given its remoteness. Lovely stay and would definitely recommend this hotel for those considering....."

"This was a nicely designed hotel, with spacious rooms. Conveniently located for Yala safari pickups. There was even a peacock to greet us every morning outside our balcony!"

Though the room was mostly clean, there were some stains on our sheets. The friendly staff quickly rectified this. When we had to leave early for our safari, there was no staff available on site to unlock the gate and we had to do a real life jailbreak from the hotel! Also the water is reliant on solar so you may have to have a cold shower on a cloudy/rainy day.

"Location was spot on, right in the city centre and close to the bus station. The beach is 5 minutes away. Lovely lady at the front desk. She upgraded me to a sea view room, without me even asking."

A hotel csodálatosan szép helyen van, a kertben játszótér, teniszpálya, röplabdapálya is megtalálható. A szobák nagyon tiszták, elegánsak, jól felszereltek. "The people from the front desk are amazing, really helpful. They gave us towels for the beach, and beach chairs. They made our stay way better, including after checkout. The hotel has an almost private beach where they also gave us a beach umbrella, it was a paradise, all for us (we even saw manta rays). The location is perfect. Not far from the ferry, not far to nice beaches, not far from places to eat. The hotel is clean, nice rooms, nice bathrooms, they gave us complimentary waters and coffee in the room. Also, the hotel has a bar and a restaurant. At night it solved us having there something to eat having been all day out."

Everything in Turks and Caicos is expensive, and in North/Middle Caicos even more (that’s not the hotel). The restaurant of the hotel was good but expensive. It is a good alternative, even more if you don’t want to grab the car again, but I would check the prices before seating to see if they are ok for you.
